Reached Singapore last Thursday. Nothing that great has happened since end. Spent the weekend at BBDC doing my vocational lessons. Had the test today which I didn't really study for, except to read through the book 2 times. We were told that it's chicken feet anyway. Bro says don't waste time. And so I didn't. hahahaha :p
Received my final result today. ALL of us did well. So did I! Had a huge jump in CAP. And a great semester in celebration of As and Bs. Now, I'm officially a graduate! :) Went high tea with my two closest university girl friends and did windows shopping.
Graduation trip had been great despite the hiccups along the trip because of differences in opinions (it always happens). We survived stronger nevertheless. Caught a cold on the last second day of my trip, ending with a fever on the flight from L.A. to Narita. It was an experience. A terrible one. :p
On a side note, I'm just thinking. How does one define 'poor'? Does it mean to be temporarily financially handicapped to satisfy own's wants? Or does it mean to be unable to meet the needs, or even reach some of the so called 'basic' wants of the rest? As I travel in the States, I wish so much for my siblings (and family) to join me there. But I know it's impossible. At least at this point in time. My parents would never even be able to afford a tour package for family of six to Asia, don't even talk about America. My siblings, while they are still studying, has their only chance to fly only during school trips. In my 22 years of life, the only time that my parents can plan a family trip is to Genting. This June, we will be going for Cruise too. Thanks to the Genting points my parents had accumulated, the 6 of us are going FOC except to pay for taxes. Cheap Skate u say? Well, we just grow up differently. Being not well to do is equivalent to not to be able to have the purchasing power. And so, we work hard to earn our dreams.
For I dream of the day when I have enough to bring the entire family to a place call United States of America. I know and HAVE to work hard.
Am going to fly KR tomorrow. Seriously, I don't have a good feeling. 95% of me understands that I will not enjoy much because of many unstated reasons. Burdens or so I call it. And I don't like it. I didn't agree to have them up my shoulders.
Up till this moment, I have yet to pack my luggage. I'm just not so much into it. I'm getting sick of all these 'drama'. Wish people could be more true to each other.
