Was reminded by my colleague that my first pay is coming in very soon. Time really flies when working life sets in. Still enjoying myself. Challenging myself by picking up faster. In this race, I have only myself to compete with.

At work, there're always steep learning impulses when my boss remembered that he should go through some of the technical stuff with me. hehehe. :p I'm loving my job still. The passion would probably be kept alive for a long time as I see changes going on in the company. With change, it brings opportunities. ;)

I'm good! And it's great to know that my best friend from primary school is in the same biz as me! More so, the same position! Wonder if we might have the opportunity to meet at work someday. heh heh! :p

Completed my first week of work.

It's giving me a different kind of feeling altogether. For the first time, I'm no longer a non-executive. I get to submit claims for reimbursement. For the first time, I have my own name cards prepared for. I have a confirmed job title. What's more, I don't have to set up my own company laptop (though I still have to set up the company server myself cuz the IT guy forgotten abt it).

The job has given me mixed feelings. For the first time, I have less or nil hands on. It's a weird feeling. For I like to be in control. Yet, it comes with a bigger responsibility. In any way, the company is still expanding. I sure hope that there will be opportunities to do some hands on too! At work, we talk about value added-ness. As not a technical person, doing hands on will give me value add. As a technical person, not doing so, means that I'm not up to mark.

Have been enjoying the times when my boss bring me out to meet the clients. And there will be more to come in the coming weeks! I'm loving it! :)

We have now reached the second half of the year. After a long wait, I'm now out of school. Already had my second day of official work, my life has changed. My personal responsibility grew. Doubled if not tripled. Every day is a challenge to me. Life can be very scary too. Afraid that I won't be able to manage my finance, my future, and even my company's prospect because of the nature of my job. It's an amazing feeling. I know too, no matter how tough the job might be, I'll persevere and succeed! Impactful parting words from my ex colleague, "the key is to keep challenging yourself". I'm bringing it with me to my new job. :)

My boy is having his convocation tomorrow. He's going straight from camp. Because I'm still on probation, I'll have to rush down after work. Hope I can make it on time for he has to rush back for his ICT after which.

Lately, people started asking the same question again. How did we meet? Our paths never could have met. We aren't classmates, schoolmates or whatsoever. And our lives are totally different. Our backgrounds have proven to be a challenge to our relationship. In our journey, there is a near zero lovey dovey. The relationship between us was more than just a "I love you". It's about knowing each other, waiting one another well. Nobody like him will wait for my ever busy schedule to end. And I suppose, nobody like me can ever take his laziness to make his girl happy. Our relationship is just different. So different that we don't glue together all the time. He has his own circle of female friends whom he goes out 1-on-1, and I have my really nice male buddies who never fail to include me as part of their plans. He gave me a comfortable relationship, with more space and freedom than I can ask for. Taking that away, he appears childish to me. For our lives have been different. Even more ever since my A levels days. I'm telling myself to give him time to figure out what he wants in life. But at least because of our different personality, we probably won't end up in the same field (or job scope for that matter). ;)

And in this two weeks, we will come to realise that, we will after all have our own common identity. As graduates of NUS, we finally have a common past. More so, I'm more than happy cuz I've won him in studies, as I always do. :p

Really enjoy the US grad trip that took me much courage to go for. It's really worth the money and the memory. If we are going again, I wanna drive more next time! hehehe!
